June update

Hey you guys! So, I know it's been a while since you guys have heard from me, and I'm really sorry about that, but the truth is that I haven't had much to say lately. I've been back and forth across the state and a lot of the places I've been haven't had any service whatsoever, so that kind of out a damper on the blogging for a while. But I decided to fill you guys in on a few things.

Recently, I have become a Facebook Beta Tester. In retrospect, that means that Facebook sends me, as well as other testers, unofficial versions of Facebook apps on my phone, and I try them, and then tell Facebook whether or not it works and if I like the features. I'm kind of excited! I can't wait to get the first updated version and try it out! I will be sure to let you guys in on how it works.

So, this will be the last post of the month post from me (probably), but don't worry, there will be plenty more in July, God-willing. I want to also tell you guys about some new shows coming on, most in the mystery-thriller-police genre. I have recently started watching them because they are BRAND NEW! I love love love new shows.

Okay, so the first is not a new show, but rather a new season, and not hard to catch up on: Perception! So, Professor Daniel Pierce is a paranoid schizophrenic, who, with the help of his FBI friends, helps solve murders and crimes using his "imaginary friend,"  Carol, who is really a women he met in the past but isn't really there. This season, however, there is a twist. She is real. After being admitted to the mental hospital for his paranoid delusions late in the last season, he discovers that Carol is really Caroline, his new doctor in the hospital. Rekindling their romantic flame from the past, they begin during after Daniel is released. He is given a new doctor. In this first episode, however, we notice that Dr. Pierce is beginning to exhibit symptoms of tardive dyskinesia, a repercussion of his new medications. Dr. Pierce eventually goes off his medicine, knowing that, if his dosage is continued, the symptoms can not be reversed. Later in the episode, Dr. Pierce is caught talking to Carol, who he thinks is Caroline, by Caroline herself. How will this play out in the rest of the season? Set your DVRs to record and find out yourself.

The next show is Under the Dome, a brand new show. It is about a small town that is hit with a big change: the whole town is trapped in a giant impenetrable dome! Among the town's trapped citizens and a man who is seen burying a man he murdered earlier in the episode, a girl and her crazy obsessed summer fling partner who traps her in his dad's bomb shelter when she claims to have no feelings for him, and a reporter whose husband is supposedly having an affair, but when she welcomes the murderer into her house as a guest, the man in the photograph who is her husband, is recognized by the murderer as the man he killed. He keeps this to himself, though, so we will see how this plays out. Also, there is a crazy man, Mr. Obsessive Kidnapping Boyfriend's father, who has been preparing for the worst for some odd years and has stockpiled plenty of supplies for the town. Now, how are crazy man and the sheriff supposed to tell the town without seeming suspicious? People are trying to find ways out or into the dome to bring supplies or escape from the dangerous people within. Personally, I think they should dig under it and test that out. It's based on a Stephen King book, so it sure to get pretty weird. Kids start having seizures and talk about stars falling and stuff like that during their" episodes. Also, at the end of the episode the sheriff starts feeling weird and gets shot right before he was about to reveal a big secret. I don't know if we will ever find out what is causing these strange occurrences, but in true Stephen fashion, I'm thinking aliens.

Another new show in rave review, Devious Maids. In the beginning, there was murder, and on the second day, there were a few sassy maids and their separate stories coming together at lunch in a Beverly Hills park. Wonder what happens here? Will the bonds of friendship and a need for revenge drives these girls to commit some heinous crimes? Who can say? I can, and I know this drama filled series will not be disappointing. This is one must see television drama of the summer.

Graceland, a brand new DEA themed series will bring you the stories of dive different agents living together and working to bust the crimes of drug gangs in SoCal. How will the agent replacing the guy who got shot work out? I don't know, but I'm dying to find out. How can you find out more about this hot in more ways than one series, filled with action and sunset beaches? Watch it.
So that's all for the TV shows so far, and I will be broadcasting from my phone later on to tell you all about the new books I am checking out. Keep in touch with me and.....
